Join Krystle Edwards, founder of Grit City Women, in this interactive seminar where we will discuss the various barriers for women leaders and how to overcome them, the challenges of leading in a male-dominated workplace, and tips for conflict resolution and leveraging your emotional response.
Krystle Edwards, South Sound Business Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40” and founder of Grit City Women, is a visionary supporter of female forward businesses that distinguishes Tacoma as a mecca of grit, creativity and progressive ideas. Her skill in leading conversations around difficult topics comes from her formal education in developmental psychology and human biology and her experience as a supervisor in the male dominated world of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Krystle has been invited to participate in multiple innovative projects at the City and Federal level, including being invited by Tacoma’s Mayor Victoria Woodards to be a core team member of Mayor Woodards’ Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative.
We're excited you could join us for the virtual Women Build Workshop, Breaking Down Barriers, featuring guest speaker Krystle Edwards.
Please look for a confirmation email from media@tpc-habitat.org with instructions on how to join the Zoom meeting.
