Open to any current Pierce County resident who aspires to own a home, our Pathways to Homeownership program can help you achieve homeownership.
Meet with a HUD-certified housing counselor at no cost to you to co-create an action plan and discover local resources to help you become buyer-ready. You will also have access to other free resources, like first-time homebuyer classes and homeownership readiness workshops.

Tacoma Urban League and Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity co-created the Pathways to Homeownership program to to impact the racial disparity in homeownership. Grounded in strengthening the economic capacity of the Black community, the program’s ultimate goal is to increase Black homeownership rates in Pierce County and improve housing stability for Black families.
