On Saturday, May 20, Beyond the Backyard teams raced through a series of challenges in an event that was part community-wide scavenger hunt and part double-dog dare. In three-hours, they attempted to complete 16 unique experiences that at times required strategy, creativity and/or a sense of playfulness. gather your team
You need between 2-8 people to race. Your entire team needs appear in photos/videos together, so build your team with people that are able to physically be with you on race day.
The cost to race is $20/person.
let the race begin
On event day, meet up with your team at the Tacoma Habitat offices for check-in and waiver completion. At 10:00 AM, clues will be delivered via the race app (Bonfyre). Plan your race, source your materials and set off on your adventure, capturing and submitting photos and video along the way!
